T-fitting is, as its name suggests, a fitting that allows three pipes to be joined. It, therefore, sports a shape reminiscent of the letter T. We often see the term “T-fitting” used.
Reducer coupling: The reducer coupling is a type of coupling that allows combining two pipes whose diameter is not identical.
Right-angled connector: The elbow makes it possible to connect while changing the direction of an inlet or an outlet. It is possible to have bends with a precise angle, for example, at 45° or 90°.

Cap fitting: The plug fitting is useful for blocking a pipe element, inlet, or outlet.

Threaded connector: It is a conical connection that ensures, in particular, tightness thanks to its tightening.
Choose & Install A PEX Fitting
This plastic material equips many plumbing pipes for heating and sanitary installations. You can start installing a PEX fitting even with limited DIY knowledge.

Within PEX fittings, there are slip, crimp, compression, and even automatic fittings. Which one to choose? It all depends on your knowledge of editing.
- PEX Fitting Size
The different types of PEX fitting are available in standard sizes, with pipe diameters ranging from 12 to 16 mm. Be aware that slip and compression PEX fittings can accompany you for a pipe diameter of 20 mm or even 25 mm.
- Mounting A PEX Fitting
The automatic PEX fitting is the easiest to install if you don’t have much DIY knowledge. However, this is not the best type of fitting. We recommend a crimp connection because they allow you to join two pipes permanently. Ditto, a slip fitting is an excellent choice thanks to its solidity, but it requires some technical knowledge for installation. Reserve the compression fitting for your large-diameter pipes.
Choose & Install A PVC Fitting
For sanitary evacuations, PVC is the preferred material. These fittings are easy to install.

The diameter of the PVC fittings varies according to the use. The most common diameters in the bathroom and kitchen are 32, 40, or even 50 mm. For rainwater, but also sewage and rainwater collection, the diameter increases. It is common to find fittings for pipes from 80 to 100 mm.
